Mount Purgessimo, few Km far from Cividale, is easy to locate because of radio and TV antennas placed on his top. The whole zone is crossed by many country roads and there are lots of roundtrips to run. This is the ideal area when there is not much time available beacuse trips are never too long . This roundrip starts from Cemur, in the Cosizza valley, arrives to the top of Moutn Purgessimo, and run back along the eastern side of the mountain.

0,7 - Stay on the road nearby the Cosizza river.

1,4 - Keep going ahead. On the left there's a bridge over the Cosizza.

1,8 150 Take the cement ramp that climbs on the left.

3,1 285 Fork. Turn right. A stretch with beautiful overviews starts.

4,4 295 After a cement descent ther's an hairpin bend: climb on the left.

5,0 335 Take la road that raises on the left. This road goes to Monte Purgessimo top.

6,6 440 Country road from the left: go ahead. Just few meters ahead the bendthere are beautiful meadows and amazing views on Castelmonte and Friuli flat.

6,7 453 Top of Monte Purgessimo with TV and radio antennas. Go ahead.

6,9 440 Turn right. Keep going down.

8,6 335 take again the main country road that climbs on the right. It's a beautiful road, large, and in good contitions. Stay on it.

10,3 425 Near an alpine hut take la road that raises on the left. Pass the ridge and go down. An hard descent, sometimes in cement, starts.

11,5 340 Fork: stay on the right.

11,9 320 Fork: go down on the left. The road that raises on the right goes to Picon. Descent continues hard.

13,1 175 Shortly after the torrent from left comes down una road: turn right.

13,3 170 Take la small road on the right and cross the bridge. Then stay on the left.

13,4 170 San Silvestro Curch. Come back along the same road.

13,5 170 Just few meters ahead the river take the road that goes down right.

14,2 - Keep right again.

14,3 - Turn right on the same way of the going.

14,9 152 Arrival nearby the bridge on Cosizza river.
